When we proposed to preview the images of the new Miu Miu advertising campaign for autumn-winter 2010-11 we focused on the clothes photographed in poses quite static, like so many. The flashes of color and accessories lit shots of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott but remained flat on paper.

We think the video reflects the experience of the backstage – very refined with a lively assembly and adrenaline – instigate

feelings that this collection deserves. Young, fresh, cheerful, a perfect balance between retro charm and very contemporary conceptions. The models Lindsey Wixson, Siri Tollerod, Ginta Lapina and Daphne Groeneveld move before the camera playing with the bags, hair, faces and communicating a lively and playful mood that had leaked from the catwalk, but that just goes perfectly with the line dresses autumn.
